i’ve had the pleasure of creating animated promos for some really cool companies. take a look around to see the different animation styles, techniques, and level of detail offered by kissing party.

the magic mullet

music nfts are making headlines in the web3 world, gaining attention for how they allow artists to create music without the traditional restraints experienced when working with record labels. beyond democratizing the creative expression of all musical artists, nfts have also touched the industry in a possibly unexpected way. there’s a vast emergence of artists using their nft profile pictures as their musical alter egos, as seen when snoop dogg and eminem performed with their bored apes at the 2022 vmas. another such artist, the magic mullet, uses his dope doodle nft as the frontman of his equally dope tracks. behind the mulleted cartoon is an artist creating tracks that draw influence from pop, rap, & electronic music. when he needed to add some sauce to his song “i’m a punk”, he reached out to kissing party for this neon, eye-catching visualizer.

electric feel entertainment

electric feel entertainment seeks to inspire every moment while acting as the epicenter of development across music, brands, and culture. they represent notable names such as post malone, louis bell, bolooki, brian lee, billy walsh, omer fedi, and blake slatkin, all of whom were involved on tracks in the top 10 of the radio top 40 in march of 2020, including “that’s what i want” by lil nas x, “stay” by justin bieber and the kid laroi, and “one right now” by post malone and the weeknd. to celebrate this accomplishment, electric feel reached out to kissing party for an animation using their doodle nft. for this promotional video, the classic kp-style animated squiggles brought the doodle to life, trait by trait, before showing him get “electrified” by the songs of these electric feel artists.

frame 48

frame 48 is a los angeles based motion design and post production studio that has done work for musicians muse, marshmello, and katy perry, in addition to notable brands such as rolex, sony, nintendo, and xbox. in an effort to promote their brand and some of their new branded merchandise, they commissioned animations from multiple artists, with kissing party doing the honors of highlighting these frame 48 mugs with some kp-style slime.

brick

onewordbrick is an nft collection that grants access to all future concerts and events organized at the project’s los angeles-based multi-use space, with their first concert played by earl sweatshirt, shlomo, 454, black noi$e, and terminal.xyz. the art for this project was created by iconic norwegian graffiti artist remio. to promote the drop of this highly hyped project, kissing party created an animation that showed some of the many ways the six varying assets could combine to create unique nfts, as well as an animated placeholder for the nft collection that was used prior to the project’s art reveal.

trestle tree

trestle tree is a urac-accredited healthcare company that seeks to improve health outcomes while decreasing costs. they specifically focus on helping patients create positive behavioral change that leads to lower bmis and reduced tobacco use through personalized guidance & care. to promote their program, they commissioned kissing party to create this advertisement using a rotoscoping technique.

lifeline podcast

i’d love to have an animated podcast of my own one day, but for now, i also really enjoy creating visuals for other people’s. here’s one i made for chris and matt d’elia’s podcast lifeline.
